GOOD SHOOTING. MANY LONG-RANGE POSSIBLES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.l TRENTHAM, this day. Long range shooting for the champion, ship bolt is taking place at the National Rifle Association's meeting at Trcnth.ain to-day. The conditions are perfect and in the Auckland march, fired this morning, nine possibles were made at 800 yds and three at 900 yds. Three marksmen made 90 for two ranges; H. R. Hunt (Suburbs), IT. V. Croxton (Ivarori) and J. t. King (Knrori), who were placed first, second and third respectively. The Australian aggregate, for the highest scores in the Canterbury, Wellington and Auckland matches, was won by J. T. King, with 241. L. E. I'.rathwaite (Okawa) was second, with 2:?9.
