GRATITUDE EXPRESSED.

HORTICULTURAL DELEGATES. The deep appreciation of the delegates to the National Horticultural Conference held in Auckland last week of the hospitality extended to them in the city lias been expressed by Mr. ft. S. Nicoll, Dominion secretary of the New Zealand Institute of Horticulture. He paid a special tribute to the way in which the lady visitors were entertained, and spoke in high terms of the flower show and the floral fete, which had been a fitting conclusion to a most successful horticultural week.
