WRITERS' CLUB.

At the Writers' Club Bohemian luncheon 011 Friday Mrs. Crump occupied the chair and announced tho winners of her poem competition. The first prize was won by Miss E. Peacocke for her poem "Temperament," the second going to Miss Iris Parkinson for "Mothers of Italy." Readings by members from Kipling followed and Mrs. Spiers recited "Ballad of East and West."
