The London office of the board also reports as follows:— Markets.—Butter: Consider February consumption been reduced, but market should not recede further meantime. April imports will exceed consumption substantially and lower retail price then necessary. Cheese: Supplies in sight not excessive. There is evidence of tendency for Home factory cheese make to decrease, but English farm cheese increasing compared with last year. We consider future position of this market sound. TO-DAY'S CABLES. Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Company have received the following cable from their London principals, Messrs. Trcngrouse and Nathan. Toole.v Street, dated March 7:—Butter: 85/ to 86/ per cwt. Cheese: White 49/ per cwt, coloured 51/6 to 52/. Both markets very quiet.
