CONGREGATIONAL UNION.

ASSEMBLY AT DUNEDIN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Sunday. The opening session of the annual assembly of the Congregational Union of New Zealand was held yesterday when the new chairman, Mr. Harry Sturge, of Ohristchurch, was inducted. He delivered his presidential address last night.

The assembly decided that in view of the Rev. Albert Mead's imminent departure for England, he should be appointed to represent the New Zealand Union at meetings of the Congregational Union of England and Wales in May.
