OUR COMPETITION CORNER.

Here is a novel competition for boyi and girls this week. The boai-fl in the picture is an acrostic. Fill in five four-letter words above definitions given and the first letters will spell the name of a well kno author who wrote a book called "The Pirate." Now for the second nart of the competition, which is here divided into two sections. Section A f boys and girls fourteen years and under, is a painting competition. Colour the picture neatly with either paints or crayons. Section B is for tho-: over fourteen, and it is necessary for these people when they have solved the acrostic to write a short paragraph of about 200 words in length about the author and his work.
