Mr. Arthur Selby preS 'The' annual report recalled the loss of many highly esteemed members during the year, and the assembly stood in silence in respect to their memory. Thanks were given to the Auckland Bowling Club for the use of their pavilion and greens each year, and the association has presented a garden seat to the club in appreciation of this courtesy. The balance-sheet again showed a healthy state of the finances. Officers elected:—Patron, Mr. Oliver Nicholson (endorsed with cheers and musical honours); president, Mr. R. T. Michaels; vice-president, Mr. T. U Schnackenberg; secretary, Mr. John Carlaw; treasurer. Mr. W. H. De Renzy, committee. Messrs. W. Bowles. H. W. Brookes. G. F. Campbell, S. Coldicutt. A. D. Gray, M. M. McCallum and the past-president. Mr. Arthur Selby. A vote of thanks to the retiring officers and committee was carried by acclamation, on the motion of Mr. W. H. Newton. During the afternoon a number of visitors looked in at the green to see tlie large assembly of veterans, and among them was Mr. Corbett Scott, the oldest bowler in the city.
