VALUES AT CHRISTCHURCH. (By Telegraph.—Sp.ecial to "Star.") CHRISTCHURCH, this day. A moderate amount of business was put through this morning, the mam features being another rising market for Woolworths (Sydney), ord., higher quotations for Electrolytic Zincs (ord.) and more activity in the brewery section. Banks were quiet, quotations being on ohe basis of recent values, except that sellers ot Nationals of New Zealand retired, leaving buyers at £3 15/. ~ New Zealand Breweries rose fractionally to £2 12/3, the market closing with "further buyers at £2 12/ and sellers at 12/5. Tooth's had tlieir first sale since the iower values set in, but sellers wanted £2 13/6 after business at £2 13/3. Among the miscellaneous issues, Anthony Jlorderns were unaltered. Tobaccos brought £2 1/6, and Bricks came on the list at 10/8. Mount Lyells and Mount Morgans had the only mining dealings. In tlie unlisted stocks Woolworths (Sydney) rose sharply to £6 12/6, with further buyers at that figure, and sellers 2/6 higher. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day.
