FOR WAITEMATA.

NEW ELECTRICITY LOAN.

POLL ON WEDNESDAY.

The loan poll ,to be taken on Wednesday by the Waitemata Electric Power Board over the whole of its area, is one of the those proposals which may be misunderstood by the casual ratepayer. The members and officials of the board are' definite in their assurance that the carrying of this loan will not impose any extra burden on their ratepavers. . There are eleven constituent districts in the area administered by the board, and ratepayers on all these municipal and county rolls are entitled to vote. Only one person can vote in respect of any one property —a wife, for example, cannot vote by virtue of her husband s rin-ht, and each ratepayer has one vote only. The districts in which polling will take, place are:—Boroughs: DevonTiort Takapuna, Nortlicote, Birkenhead. Town boards: Glen Eden, Henderson, Warkwortli and Helensville. Counties: Rodney and Waitemata.
