ARREST AT MEETING.
Englishwoman in Custody in Berlin. ACCUSED OF TAKING NOTES. (Received 2 p.m.) MUNICH, February 5. An Englishwoman, Miss Frances Blackett, was arrested at a political meeting and accused of taking notes and not giving the Hitler salute. She was searched and kept in custody all night and was not allowed to communicate with the British Consul. She was released at noon, her notebook and personal papers being confiscated. Miss Blackett is a speaker of London and has been in Wrniany for several months studjlng Socialism and political questions.
