PUPIL PILOT'S LUCKY ESCAPE.—Mr. J. R. Butcher, when on a solo flight this morning from Mangere, had a /uc/fp escape from injur}}* when the 'plane nose-dived and crashed in a nearby paddock. The 'plane, a Gipsy Moth) Was wrecked. The pilot Was on a practice flight before being examined for his A class certificate.
