PROPAGANDA IN INDIA. ~ 1 « (Received 9.30 a.m.) BOMBAY, January 26. Following upon a warning from the Punjab of. the widespread distribution of Red literature the police raided a suspected house and seized thousands of copies of a revolutionary newspaper, "The Communist," a duplicating machine, and large quantities of Communist propaganda. As the result of two months of "combing out" 50 Reds have been imprisoned under the Government's special emergency powers.
