WELLINGTON WEDDING.
JERRAM—OSTLER. At St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral on Friday a wedding of wide interest took place, when Audrey Owen, daughter of the Hon. Mr. Justice Ostler and Mrs. Ostler, Wellington, was married to Charles Wynn, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Jerram, Wellington. The ceremony was performed by Archdeacon E. M. Cowie and Mr. H. J. Evans was 11) c organist. Masses of lovely hydrangeas decorated the church and on tho altar there were white madonna lilies. The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a beautiful gown of French magnolia satin, made with a full bodice, long sleeves, and a slim-fitting skirt which formed a long-pointed train. : Her veil of tulle and Brussels lace was i held "to her head by a wreath of orange
r blossom, and she carried a sheaf of white madonna lilies. Miss Joan Ostler, sister of the bride, and Miss Margaret Jerram, the bridegroom's s sister, were bridesmaids. Their frocks t of delphinium blue chiffon crepe had draped scarves which were caught at the waist with pink chifTon roses. D/sli phiniums, pale pink roses and carnations f formed their bouquets. The best man was Mr. J. V. Jerram, and Mr. J. D. Ostler was groomsman. > The bride's parents held a reception f at their home in Talavera Terrace, and the rooms were charmingly decorated with hydrangeas, in all their varied , shades, and pink gladioli and carnations. Real , flowers, pale pink and white miniature hydrangeas, and trailing asparagus fern, decorated the wedding cake. Many relatives and friends of both families were present, and Mrs. Ostler received her guests wearing a deep blue gown of flat crepe with a faggoted yoke, a dusky pink flower being pinned to the corsage. Her large hat was of black straw trimmed with dark and pale pink roses, and her ensemble was porn 111 ntorl with n riprtlof nf nrminn onH I
completed with a necklet or ermine anc a bouquet of pale pink carnations anc roses. Mrs. Jerram, who assisted her wore a gTeen lace ensemble made ir Renaissance style and a brown straw hat. Her bouquet consisted of golden roses and pansies. When Dr. and Mrs. C. W. Jerram left later the bride was wearing a model frock of navy blue figured silk with navy accessories and a navy bhie hat trimmed with pink flowers. Dr. and Mrs. Jerram will leave Auckland by the Port Huon on February 4 for England.
