j An enjoyable evening was spent in the West End Tennis Club rooms, when s guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Comber i assembled to celebrate the engagement of their daughter Lovie. E. i: Cammick gave a morning tea party last week at the Cottage Tearooms in honour g of Miss Phel Peet's approaching mar- t riage. The guests included: Mesdames Wallace, Taylor, St. George, Halford, r Jarman, Sturt, Saunders, Ivingsland, A Preston, Baxter, Keane, Misses Connett, Jones, O'Callahan and Better. f< i.
