MOTOR CYCLIST'S FATE. COLLISION NEAR KAWAKAWA. i KAWAKAWA, Sunday. 1 A motor cyclist, lan Duncau Mcßae, aged 19, a son of Mr. G. H. Mcßae, farmer, of Omahuta, near Hokianga, was • killed when he collided with a trailer ■ drawn by a motor car on the main north 1 road. I Mr. Mcßae was apprenticed as a cabinetmaker at Wliangarei, and although his parents did not expect hira he was evidently on his way to visiti his home. At a corner above Maromaku j he collided with a trailer drawn by a car driven by Mr. Claude J. Lovegrove, i of Auckland. Mr. Lovegrove was return- . ing to Auckland from Paihia, accom- . panied by his wife and three children. It was apparent that the cyclist was seriously injured, and Dr. G. J. Frcngley, of the Kawakawa Hospital, was sum- ) moned. The injured youth, who was - unconscious, wa3 found to have suffered I a fracture of the skull and other injuries, • and he was taken to hospital, whera I he died this afternoon without regaining , consciousness. —• 1
