The programme for the Bay of Plenty Jockey Club' 6 annual meeting, to be held at Tauranga on March 21 and 23, is advertised in this issue: The stake money has been increased by £445, with last year, and', .now totals. £2090. The chief events on the first day are theTauranga Cup- of £300; and trophy; valued at £30, one - mile, and a quarter, and the Flying Handicap of £150, six furlongs; and on .the second day, the Herries Memorial Handicap, one mile, is endowed with £200,i and the Railway. Handicap, six furlongs, £140. Nominations for all events close with Messrs. Blonifleld and Company, Shortland Street, Auckland, at 5 p.m., or with the secretary, Mr. Geo. Willcock, Tauranga, at 9 p.m. on Friday, February 28.
