The Dunedin Jockey Club'a summer meeting concluded to-day in sweltering weather on a rock-hard track. There was a largo attendance. The totalisator handled £10,252 for the day, compared with £10,582 last year, making a total for the meeting of £33,973, an increase of £8,730 on the 1034 figures of £25,237.
Arctic Star (Taieri Hurdles) and Paladino (Novice Handicap) 'were the opening winners. Additional results: —
