All Six Winners Go Forward
to Carlton
Bowlers were again favoured with ideal weather conditions for the third day's play in the annual tournament of the Auckland Bowling Centre. The arrangements were well carried out and are a credit to the secretary, Mr. George Gladding. As was predicted earlier all winners of six games will go forward to postsection play on Monday, at Carlton. The chances of the "sixers'' rested on the game between Ramsey (Balmoral) and Dyson (Hallyburton Johnstone). This was contested keenly and Dyson ran out winner by 23 to 21. Thus the hearts of a large number of players were gladdened.
