I love you mother, said little May, And in a minute she was off to play, The dishes were left and her beo. unmade But nought did she care, this wee young maid. I love you mother, said sister Flo, Hut off to tennis I now must go, So off she trotted just full of glee, But she left poor mother to. get the tea. I love you 1 mother, said little Fan,. I'm goiiig to help you all I can, I'll get some tea and make my bed, I'll do potatoes and sweep, she said. We love you mother, the three of them said As mother gently tucked them into hed. But who do you think loved mother hest, • AVhy, little Fan, I knew you'd guess.
