SIX-ROOM DWELLINGS.
'ARE MOST COMMON IN CANAT>A
TORONTO, December 3. A national survey shows that the sixroom dwelling house is more common in Canada than homes of any other size. Nearly 60 per cent of Canadian households, it is revealed, occupy from four .to sevenfrooms, and almost 20 per cent live in three rooms or fewer. Only 3} per cent occupy homes of more than 10 rooms. Six-room homes are the favourites in both rural and urban Quebec. In Ottawa, .the national capital, seven-room houses are most numerous. More than 60. per cent of rural homes on the Prairies contain four rooms or fewer, and in Alberta and Saskatchewan there are more rural homes with two rooms than of any other size.
