Twenty N.C.O.'s of the Ist Field Ambulance were present at . the Newmarket Hotel on the occasion of an informal dinner on .Thursday evening Staff Sergeant-Major W.O. (11) S. W. Garlev N.Z.P.S., staff instructor of tno Field Ambulance, was elected an honorary life member of the Sergeants Mees. In propoeing his health, Sergeant-Major Keenan spoke feelingly of years of happy association with him. Lieutenant Shuttleworth and Captain Judson, V.C., D.C.M., M M., the past and present adjutants, sent messages of good will. The company later paid a vieit to tne home of Lieutenant-Colonel J. H.
