POKENO NEWS.

The following officers were appointed at the installation ceremony of the Pokeno Lodge, M.U.l.O.O.F.: —lmmediate past noble grand, Mr. It. C. O'Leary; noble grand, Miss S. Dean ; vice grand, Mr. J. Dean; financial secretary, Mr. H. .T. Buckingham; elective seeretary, Mr. K. K. Munro. The installing officers were Messrs. C. A. Ryder (group officer), F. Hard ad W. Gubb (past district grand masters).

A successful (lance was held by members of the I'okeno Tennis Club. Novelty dances were won by Mr. and Mrs. Clendon and Miss G. Gordon and Mr. C. Mci»j/hbie, while a competition .was won by 31. JC. IJ. Munro. •
