A fracture of the leg was suffered by Mother St. Benitus, aged 75, as the result of a fall from a landing in St. Mary's Convent, Opotiki. She was admitted to the Opotiki Hospital, and her condition is satisfactory. Mother Benitus was well known as a Mother Superior at both Panmure and Ellerslie.
