FIRST AID ON BEACHES.

Members of the Auckland division of th° St. John Ambulance Brigade who were on duty at eastern beaches on Saturday treated over 250 eases. Nearly all these were cases of sunburn, though three or four serious cases were treated, including concussion, cuts and abrasions.

The division is building a beach casualty room and this will be ready in time for the holiday season, when members will be on duty. Buckland's Beacb will also be patrolled during the holidays
