AUCKLAND BRIDGE CLUB.

I The last contract pairs game to be held by the Auckland Bridge Club this year was played on Tuesday night, when the Pascoe Cups were presented to the winners, Mrs. M. Pritchard anil Mr. C. V. Cavendish. In making the presentation the | president of the club, Mr. P. Scaietti, expressed regret that Mr. Pascoe had been unable to attend, and mentioned that the one aim of the tournament had been to assist in improving the general standard of play. A presentation was made from the club 'members to Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Macnamara, as a recognition of their services to the club. The winners of the evening's game were: North-south, Captain li. Barnes and Mr. C. K". Tucker; east-west, Messrs. P. Scaietti and H. W. White.
