PARRISH BELLE GOES WELL.

The grass track provided excellent going at Epsom this morning, the poles being 35ft out. The best efforts were credited to Mountain Dell, Parrish Belle and Pink Lady.

Silver Watch and Auto Machine were the first out, and the pair jumped oft' at the mile and a half post. Silver Watch was in front all the way and was drawing away in the run home, when Auto Machine fell. Silver Watch went 3.42, the last half-mile in 1.10. He worked very pleasingly. Ariel Bell brought them home over the last mile and a quarter and ran the distanee in 3.3, the last half in 1.10 3-5. After running the last half of a mile in 1.13 2-5, Worthy Nor ran another mile in 2.28, the final four furlongs in 1.12. She is not staying on at all well. Autumn Lu and Elissa were associated over a mile and a half, but after the pair had raced together nearly all the way Elissa broke at the home turn and Autumn Lu came on to beat her comfortably by three lengths in 3.41, the last half-mile taking 1.11 3-5. Elissa took 3.44. Guid Hairst jumped away 2s in front of Audo Patch, with a further gap ; of 3s to Nimbus from the two-mile post, and they finished in that order. Guid Hairst recorded 5.5, the last half in 1.10, and Audo Patch 5.2, his final half taking 1.9 4-5. Nimbus went

5.2. Audo Patch pleased moat and he should have great prospects at the forthcoming Auckland meeting. There was nothing between Stargum and Lady Digger over a mile and a quarter in 3.10, but Stargum was-"doing .his work very well at the end. Blandford got to tlie' end of a mile and a half in 3.42, the last half-mile taking 1.11 2-5, but lie was not unduly pressed. Gala Day gave Young Rodney 2s as they went away from the two-mile peg, but what looked like being an excellent workout was spoilt when Young Rodney broke at the end of the back stretch. Gala Day went on to beat her companion by three lengths in 454 3-5, the last half in 1.10 3-5. Young Rodney took 4.56 3-5. Gala Day went freely ' throughout. Bingen Sun brought them home over the last mile and a half and recorded 3.44. Agnes Bingen shaped well in a run oyer a mile and a quarter in 3.2, the last half in 111 2-5. She is improving with every workout. Parrish Belle and Glandore went away on terms from the mile and a quarter disc. Parrish Belle leading throughout to beat her companion by a length in 2.59, the last four furlongs taking 1.9— an excellent effort for a trotter. Mountain Sun went away smartly at the two miles and after completing a half was joined by Pink Lady, who beat him home. Mountain Sun ran the two miles in 4.57, and the last half in 1.10, while pink Lady took 3.42 for her section. Pink Lady went better than she has done for some time.
