PUKEKOHE HIGH SCHOOL.
DIFFICULT TEAR ENDS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, Wednesday. In welcoming a good attendance of parents and old students at the Pukekohe Technical High School's breakingup ceremony to-day : tne principal, Mr. W. F. J. Munro, said that the past year had been a difficult one for the school, particularly in view of illnesses among the staff and through a certain amount of disorganisation caused by building extensions. However, the latter interruptions were pleasant ones, for now the school had technical equipment of a very high standard.
Mr. Munro announced that a new course, arts and crafts, was being inaugurated, for included in the staff was an assistant admirably suited for giving instruction in that class of work. He pointed out that people could not afford to shut their eyes to such a course, for it had a great commercial value.
