"THE FLYING FLEA."
TINY FRENCH AEROPLANE. ONE COMING TO WELLINGTON? • (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. It L? stated that a "Pou Du Ciel," 'or a "Sky Louse," or a "Flying Flea"— a tiny single-6eater aeroplane invented by the Frenchman Henri Mignet—may be imported to New Zealand by Mr. L. E. Atkinson, a son of Mrs. S. A. Atkinson, of Wellington.
Mr. Atkinson, wlio is at present visiting England, found that the parts for assembly and t!ie motor cost £85, and a ready-to-fly model £105. He proposes to eo-operate with his brother, who is training for a pilot's license with the Wellington Aero Club, in assembling the machine and learning to fly it. Mr. Atkinson's brother ,says the purchase of a 'plane is being considered "just for the fun that can be got out of it."
