KING COUNTRY SCHOOLS. ANNUAL SPORTS GATHERING. The annual King Cmintry schools sports meeting was held on Wednesday at Cherry Grove, over 1000 children attending from schools in the Auckland, Wanganui and Taranaki. Education Boards' districts. The day was fine, and at the conclusion of the meeting Herbert Smith Cups and trophies were presented by the Mayor, Mr. C. A. Boles. Results: — 75 Yards' (boys under 10). —G.
