CLERK SHOT DEAD.
DARING CANADIAN HOLD-UP,
(Received 1.30 p.m.) OTTAWA, December 4. Within the shadow of the Royal Mint, two armed men abducted and bound and gagged Paul Lafleur and Armand Nadeau, two bank clerks, who were taking old bills to the Mint. They shot Nadeau dead and escaped with notes to the value of 15,000 r 1 "
