CLOSING DAY.
NORTH SHORE GOLF,
The lady members of the North Shore Golf Club held their official closing day and presentation of prizes yesterday, when many members from other clubs were present. The winners of a fouisomo played during the morning were Miss M. Stevens and Miss A. McFetridge, the trophies for this having been donated by the president, Mr. N. S. Chalmers and Mrs. Chalmers. Mrs. R. Clouston won the approaching and putting competition. Bouquets were presented to Mrs. Chalmers, the captain (Mrs. Keith Pike), and the lion, secretary (Mrs. H. Cadness, jun.) by the members, and Mrs. Chalmers then presented the prizes won during the season. Mrs. Cadness presented a bouquet to each member of the committee, which included Mesdames S. W. H. Chambers, M. Lewins, W. W. Houghton, J. Weir, Atkinson, Nevill and Miss M. Leggoe. Among those present were: Mesdames Ben Goldwater, H. Freakes, R. N. K. Swanston, E. Thomas, C. J. Randall, E. P. Ea'rle, Horne, Gillett, J. G. Kickerby, H. Mason, R. Smallfield, W. H. Rossiter, Phil Andrew, J. Howie, F. Hawes, H. P. Ibbertson, G. Attwood, T. McCorkindale, V. Tanner, Mills, Barney Goldwater, Walter Beaumont, Seagar, T. S. Hickey, T. Kollo, Keith Anderson, Parkinson, M. Walsh, H. Preston, I. Wilson, C. Black, A. Allen, E. Cox, Humphry Duder, A. Bow, I. Fleming, Melville, Hogan, H. Armitage, Misses M. King, J. McDonnell, M. Mason, M. Parker, Gwen Williams, I. Wight, Ruth Gillett, L. J. McDonnell, N. Mason, Grace Macdonald, B. Hawes, A. O'Neill and 0. Stevens.
