PLUNKET COMMITTEE.

CLOSE OF NORTHCOTE YEAR. The president, Mrs. Archie Campbell, occupied the chair at the closing meeting for the year of the Northcote Committee of the Plunket Society and extended seasonable greetings to the members. The next meeting was fixed for the first Wednesday in February. The nurse, Missi Joan Carmicliael, reported that visits to the Northcote Plunket rooms for the past month totalled 147 (adults 31, babies 59, older children 27), while 28 homes visited included two new wises. Votes of thanks were passed to Mesdames F. E. Cox and L. T. Havman and Mr. A. W. Christmas for voluntary transport on the occasion of the "At Home"; to Mrs. G. Lytollis for assistance and the Methodist trustees for the use of the hall.
