LETTER FROM DR. KAGAWA. An outline of his extensive tour of Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii is contained in a letter from Dr. Toyohiko Kagawa, the Japanese Christian worker, to the Rev. E. D. Patehett, president of the Auckland Council of Christian Congregations. , On his return to Tokyo at the end of September, Dr. Kagawa said he had spoken -to aboiii 200,000 people during his hurried visit to these countries. In Australia he had spoken to 115,000 people and in New Zealand 61,000. He lioped that through these gatherings and by his testimonies for Christ he might have been of sonic help in the furtherance of the Kingdom of God for the promotion and continuance cf international friendship.
