UNEMPLOYED WOMEN.
REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED. THE FIRST EIGHTEEN. Eighteen registrations were received at the Town Hall this morning as a result of the opening of the temporary register, which the Mayor, Mr. Ernest Davis, is having compiled for the purpose of determining the exact position in regard to the amount of unemployment among women and girls in Auckland. The register is available to women and girls in the metropolitan area, and will remain open until December 10. Those eligible to register are women and girls who are dependent entirely on their own efforts for a livelihood.
