XMAS TOURNEY AT SHORE 1 TOWN V. COUNTRY DATES ALTERED. Mr. W. R. Fee presided at last night's meeting of the Auckland Cricket Association, at wliiph it was intimated by Mr., L. B. Schnajier, on behalf of the Country Week sub'CQmmittce, that the North Shore Club had been approached for the loan of its ground for this competition during Christmas week. Mr. Hugh-Duncan reported that, after consultation with the South Auckland Association, it had been agreed that December 12 and 13 or December 17 and 18 would be the most suitable dates for the annual Town and Country fixture. JtTvas decided to leave the finalising of arrangements to Messrs. Fee and Duncan. Upon the euggestion of Mr. E. E. Nalder , it was agreed to write a letter of conptulation to Mr. W. Brook Smith (Auckland s Xew Zealand rep. in 1906 and 1914) on his elevation to the position of actinglecretary to the Auckland Harbour Board. it, was also decided, on Mr. Nalder's potion, to write to the South African isoard Of' Control expressing sympathy with the relatives of the late H.
