In insurances, Nationals, ex dividend, were down to sellers at 19/, buyers replying at 18/9. Breweries failed to hold the recent rise and slipped to £2 15/2. the > market closing 2d cither side. Misccl- ! laneous issues were active, Broken Hills ' rising to £2 18/, with later buyers Id higher. Zincs were firmer again, with > business in preferences at £ 1 19/2 and • ( more wanted at that price. New Zealand i Newspapers - rose to buyers at £2 2/, > sellers ~£2 2/9. Mount Morgans were > quoted from £1 17/7 to £1 18/. Lyclls had sale and buyers at £1 l/.'i, later Kellers asking £1 1/7. Quotations for Tiproff Seal were wider.
