OLD-TIME DANCE.
FUNCTION AT DEVONPORT. The Parish Hall, Devonport, was well filled on Monday evening, when the Parish Hall Trust Board held an oldtime dance. The hall was decorated in streamers and balloons, which were suspended from the ceiling, while the electric lights were shaded with cellophane and tinselled paper. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss Ailsa. Smith and Mr. Ron Lythberg. The St. Michael's Orchestra supplied music, and the duties of master of ceremonies were carried out by Mr.. J. R. Readdy.
