WILL PROBABLY HAVE FIVE , GODPARENTS. 1 There will probably be five godparents . for the small son of the Duke and j Duchess of Kent, states a recent issue of the "Daily Telegraph." , The King is likely to act as godfather. _ Two others may be .Prince Nicholas and the Prince of Wales. \ The two godmothers are expected to be ( tho Queen . and, possibly, Countess , foerring. ', 3 ,The baby will be christened at the f private chapel in Buckingham Palace. 1 The intention is to hold the ceremony j shortly after the Royal wedding, allow- ( ing a week or ten days to elapse between ( the two events. An interesting question has arisen 1 with regard to the christening robe. As it is so many. years since the birth ', of a prince,, it- .was thought at first that lie would be christened in the historic f robe .used for other members of the | Royal family. . The Duchess of Kent, however, is understood to be desirous that he should -j be christened in an old robe belonging ( to her parents. It is likely that this will be done. . ! Scottish folks are predicting a lucky life for the ; little. Prince of Kent. His first journey was taken upstairs to his Belgravo Square nursery on the third (loor from the Duchess's room below on the second. There is an old North. Country superstition that this brings good luck to mother and child in after years.
