I An "At Home," organised by Mrs. R. I Martin, Mayoress 01 Northcote, in 1 honour of Mr. Alex. Harris, who has 1 represented Waitemata in Parliament 1 for 24 years, was held in the King's 1 Theatre at Northcote yesterday afternoon. ;The- attendance of 200 ladies included Mrs. McLean, of Devonport. A beautiful bouquet was presented to Mrs. Harris. An address by Mr. Harris on ) political questions of interest to women commanded keen attention, and a vote of thanks and confidence in him was y carried unanimously. 1
