Auckland's Oldest and Most Beloved ) Father Xmas ARRIVES AT GEORGE COURT'S Friday Next « at 4.30 p.m. Sharp VV7 W E can hardly wait till Friday—dear old Father Christmas with us again after all these dreary months. And what do you think? He has sent us a telegram telling us all about his arrival at George Court's. It's going to be a most wonderful sight. Dapple grey steeds drawing a glistening chariot of white and blue are bringing Santa into town, and all his merry company will be with him. There is also Mickey Mouse's Circus with its huge big waggons, all painted in red and gold — the weirdest and most curious circus you ever saw. Little animals and big animals up to all sorts of mischief and funny antics. You will see Hujaar, the tiny wee Elephant — old Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse doing such funny things — and the thrillingest Band playing Santa's favourite music. Ask Mother to take you to George Court's next Friday. Father Christmas expects you. Besides, Mother will enjoy the fun too. See the Big Procession! See Mickey Mouse's Circus! See The "Wonderland" Menagerie! .... And then you must follow the procession' right through George Court's Big Store up the Stairs to the Third Floor to the big Tent where Father Christmas with Mickey Mouse s Circus and its "Wonderland Menagerie will be camping till Christmas Eve. Such a wonderful place, with all the fun and. excitement you could wish for. You 11 see Cuthbert the Clown and his old friend Dreamy Dan— a couple of silly fellows—just there for the fun of it. And another funny Clown (he won't tell us his name) will be walking the tightrope Hujaar the Elephant, performing amazing antics to make you laugh ... And there is the Midget Band which will play to you plenty of sideshows and real Moving Pictures. Here's something that will make your eyes pop out: a boy without a body just a head he will talk to you and make faces, but you can't see any arms or legs or anything. And while you are there you'll see the Wonderland Menagerie, an amazing place full of queer little animals (they are not real ones, but they are far, far funnier). It's all such a marvellous place we can't describe it properly, but here's something we must tell you about: it's Horace Horse Collar trying hard to tip Mickey Mouse off his back. Do you think he can do it? Come and see! When leaving everybody receives a present from Father Christmas and every boy and girl receives a lovely balloon as well-—a gift from the Fairies. Oh IWe forgot to tell you: Right in the middle of the Big Tent is a marvellous revolving Christmas Tree—you must come and see it. Admission for Adults and Children, 6d. Don't forget to be outside George Court's Store in Karangahape Road at 4.30 p.m. sharp on Friday Next (22nd November). Bring all your friends, too. GEORGE COURT S£S KARANGAHAPE ROAD - - AUCKLAND
