Herr and Fran Weidner, of Steinau-on-thc-Oder, had been married for 22 years. They were looking forward to celebrating their silver wedding. Now they have been informed that their marriage in 1913 was not legal. The beadle had forgotten to make them sign in the register after the religious ceremony. TheV must therefore go through another marriage ceremony and start their married life over again, as officially they are both still single.
