SISTER ISABELLA CAMPBELL.
Sister Isabella Campbell, one of tlie Contingent of seven nurses who went to the South African War, has died suddenly at No. 5, Oaklands Road, Mount Eden. Sister Campbell was born in Dunedin 05 years ago and started her nursing career in the Dunedin Public Hospital. At the outbreak of the South African War she offered her services, and left with six other nurses, who were sent to South Africa as a result of a public subscription raised in Dunedin. For some time after the war, Sister Campbell resided in Johannesburg, later going to Ireland, where she entered ' the Rotunda Hospital in - Dublin. She returned to New Zealand in 1908 and was private nursing in Auckland until seven years ago. when she retired. Sister Campbell was a member of the New Zealand Trained Nurses' Association.
