MONOWAI FOR SYDNEY.

LURLINE IN THE MORNING.

The Union Company's intercolonial liner Monowai sails for Sydney this afternoon. She has passengers, mail and cargo, and is due to arrive on Monday morning. She leaves Sydney for Auckland next Friday. The Wairuna is due at 4 p.m. to-day with general cargo loaded at Pacific ports, also fruit from the Cook Telande. She berths at the Queen's wharf. The Mateon liner Lurline will arrive from Sydney at 7 a.m. to-morrow, berthing at the Queens wharf. She brings 206 passengers for Auckland, 134 are booked through, and about 40 will join her here when she sails at 1 p.m. for San Francisco, via Suva, Pago Pago, Honolulu and Los Angeles. Kakariki arrived from Port Kembla at 2.40 a.m. to-day, berthing later at the King's wharf. She sails again at noon to-morrow. (U.S.S. Co.) Garonne, the Norwegian tanker, left for Wellington this morning to complete discharge of oil from Kuseia. (H. and M.) Port Chalmers sailed for London shortly before G p.m. yesterday with a full cargo. She is due to arrive on December 17. (Farmers' Co-op.) Maimoa completes her loading to-mor-'row morning and sails for London at noon. She goes via Panama and has cargo for Cristobal, Kingston and Bermuda. (A.S.P.) The P. and O. liner Strathnaver will arrive at Auckland from Brisbane on the first tourist cruise of the season next Friday afternoon. The ship is to sail the following night for Wellington. The company's Strathaird will visit New Zealand next November and their Narknnda will visit the Hay oC Islands and Auckland at the end of December, VJ'M, on a holiday cruise.
