TE RAPA TRIALS.
THIS MORNING'S WORK. (By Telegraph.—Special to •'Star.' , ) HAMILTON, this day. The No. 1 grass and the outside of the course proper were available for the little last work attempted at Te Rapa this morning, and several interesting trials were recorded by visiting horses. On the course proper Do Friend came home from the half-mile post in 55s —a good effort. On No. 1 grass Bantry, Mustang and Taniwharau were practically on terms at the completion of half a mile in 50s. Bantry looks well and is expected to show up in his engagements at the meeting. Alchemic and Ruri worked at a steady pace. Mungatoon hit out over five furlongs, taking 1.6. Orac came home over six furlongs on the inside grass in 1.23. Boughal, on the same track, reqorded 1.17. Lady Kyra and Mungacre gave a sound display over five furlonge, being timed to negotiate the distance in the good time of 1.5. Sweet Lap and Semiarch gave a satisfactory display over two hurdles along the back. Among the visiting horses on the track wore Refresher, Tahurangi and Valrent. Folly's Choice was scratched at 9.45 a.m. to-day for the Waimai Hurdles.
