TALLOW, HEMP, EGGS. HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated November 9, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:— Tallow. —Market continues quiet. Hemp.—Market easier; steadier at the close. "K" grade sold down to £21 10/. Closing values £23. Sisal: Market firmer; better demand. November-Decem-ber and January-March shipments sold up to £27. New Zealand: Market unchanged. Eggs.—English supplies smaller; market steady. English: National pack, 18/ to '24/ ; ordinary pack, 20/9 to 21/9. Danish (supplies smaller.): 13/6 to 16/3. Empire: Slow. Australian: Supplies heavier, slightly easier prices, 10/6 to 12/6. New Zealand: Rangitane shipment in the market. Quality and condition perfect. Bulk realised Ws to 16's, 11/3 to 12/6. Apples.—Market steady. Californian Newtown, to 10/6; Washington Jonathan, 7/ to 9/G; British Columbian Jonathan, 7/6 to 9/6; British Columbian Cox's Orange, 11/ to 20/. Pears. — Market good. Californian Cornice, 18/; Winter Nelis, 12/ to 15/; Beurre Bosc, 11/ to 13/._
