REFUSED HEARING.
TORY : MEETINGS CANCELLED. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, November 11. Mr. Baldwin will make his Jast election speech at Newcastle to-morrow. Most of the other Cabinet Ministers are making their final appeals. A Conservative, Mr. Crooke, has cancelled all his meetings in the Deritend division of Birmingham because his opponents refuse him a hearing. His Labour opponent, Mr. Longden, declares that this is a political stunt. The Labour leader, Mr. Arthur Greenwood, at Wakelield, said that disturbances were regrettable but were due largely to deliberate provocation and ignorance or lack of tact.
