RUMANIAN OIL.
ITALY MUST PAY IN GOLD. BUCHAREST, November 11. M. Osiceanu, president of the Rumanian Petroleum Industry Association, has informed the Minister of Finance that further exports of oil to Italy in accordance with tho commercial treaty of 1934 are impossible. On behalf of the association, which includes the interests of leading British and American companies, M. Osiceanu announced that payment on a gold basis at any point desired by tho exporter was the only basis for future sales to Italy.
