ATTENTIVE HEARING.
LIBERAL AT NEWMARKET,
An attentive hearing was accorded Mr. F. C. Jordan, Liberal candidate for Parnell, by an audience of about 70 in the Newmarket Town Hall. The candidate's address was based mainly on currency reform, and included many quotations from overseas authorities.
In dealing with B class broadcasting, stations, Mr. Jordan said that British liberty and the right of free speech should not be stifled by boards. A vote of thanks and confidence was carried without dissent.
