STORMY PASSAGE.
THE TRAWLER WAKAKURA, FULL SPEED DASH FOR PORT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The naval trawler Wakakura arrived last evening from Marlborough Sounds after what the commander says was the worst trip lie has ever had across Cook Strait. There seemed no reason for the heavy seas, as the wind was not strong, but off Korori liock great difficulty was experienced in making- headway. A course was steamed south well" down into the strait, after which the ship was turned to run full speed for port, attempting to keep ahead of the following tscas.
