GIRL STRUCK BY CAR.

THIGH BELIEVED BROKEN. (By Telegraph.— Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. Joyce Cadman. the 14-year-old daughter of Mr. A. Cadman, proprietor of the Hikurangi Hotel, was knocked down about L.'JO p.m. to-day by a car driven by Mr. Reginald Baylies, of Marna. It is believed that her left thigh is broken. A St. John's ambulance was summoned from the racecourse and the girl removed to the hospital.
